So, we've been seeing some interesting videos where Guardians are doing near infinite damage to bosses thanks in part to unintended Artifact perk stacking. Quite hilarious to watch, to be honest! While we're planning a fix (next week likely), we think this is a bit fun. Go ahead. Get out there, beat up on Atheon. Destroy some bosses. Do your thing. Just to note: we will be disabling Artifacts in Crucible/Gambit to protect Guardians from being on the receiving end of this. We tried to come up with a name. The Artifactening? Sure. Why not. I think what @Sony is struggling to understand with #Destiny2 is that most of us didn't want to stop playing. We stopped playing because the people in charge at Bungie were making horrible decisions and (in my opinion) intentionally sabotaging the game. After seeing how much was planned, how much was denied, how many things were done that leadership outright threw out/refused... it feels on purpose. It feels like after the sale the leadership just didn't give a single shit and were just waiting for their deal to mature so they could get the bonus and leave. If the game had been good it would've maintained 100k+ players constantly. Looking back, again, it feels like it was sabotaged by a few spiteful individuals in charge. Hopefully they see this as a "Oh, maybe we should continue SOME development" or "Hey, D3 makes sense" Everyone needs to keep being loud on socials. Keep telling Sony/Playstation directly that they were lied to, it was bullshit, and the game's worth keeping. Let them know the leadership lied, inflated numbers, and then sabotaged the game by not caring. Maybe it'll do some good.

Destiny 2 at 140K+ players on a weekday while most people are at work, on an update that isn't even an expansion, pacing to double Marathon's all time peak. Sony failed with nearly every live service bet they have made. You had a winner the whole time. Wake up Sony.

Actually, the NCAA can very easily prevent Brendan Sorsby from playing lol All it takes is one statement that reads “if Brendan Sorsby so much as plays a single down for Texas Tech, not only does Texas Tech forfeit every game of that season but their entire athletics program is permanently barred from competing for NCAA Championships in any sport.” They could put that out there with about two minutes of work, and then enforce it by simply never allowing Texas Tech to be selected for the CFP or NCAA Tournament in any sport ever again. Beyond a bunch of oil barons and the few thousand people who rely on their money in West Texas needing to find a new hobby, there’s absolutely zero downside to this. Sometimes, there just needs to be a sacrificial lamb. It’s called a deterrent. And when someone disrupts the natural flow of society badly enough, you need to hold a public execution to remind the masses that the very idea of law and order still exists. College sports will survive just fine without the presence of a historically irrelevant athletics program that’s third fiddle in its own state.
