Only unrealistic part would be that a civil war in Myanmar should lead an investor to short child prostitution futures since it’s implied political instability drives UP the supply and therefore decrease the price! It’s basic economy hope that helps :D

@Alex_Intel_ @IntelBull_ they have to signal it before then because the bubble is not gonna last til 2028; we have like 6-9 month left max if not already gone when the moment it burst demand will evaporate and every semi will be down 70-80%

That mental block, the "sword of damocles" of we have to go back to 15 shiller CAPE some day had carried on all this time. It stopped me from buying the dips in 2020 and 2022 because at the bottom, I thought, we were still overvalued.

In 2018, when I was 15 years old, I opened my first simulated investing account. At that point I have read a fair deal of investing related books, mostly from Buffett-adjacent camps; a lot about market history, a lot about valuations and discipline and etc etc

@BoujeeFinances This is true even excluding the post covid era. stuff is always getting more expensive faster than the topline suggest then, adjust for volatility, which means compared to real inflation, the excess return from index funds are essentially, zero. you cannot FIRE from index funds.

@BoujeeFinances A lot of people does FIRE calculation assuming 2-3% inflation, and gives index funds a 6-7% real return. But the cold, hard truth is that many necessities and luxuries in life goes up in cost faster than surface inflation data suggests. Real inflation is more like 5-6%

I have fairly high convictions in my plays (ok fine I will admit it it’s basically just intc + a few little ones) but I always remind myself to size for survival and time for survival. No near term far otm calls, no insane leverage, no 2x etf

It really took a long fucking ass time for me to hit a million. I started in 2020 and there’s so many unforeseen bumps along the way. I thought 7 fig was imminent at 2022; it didn’t work. I thought it was imminent in 2024, then 2025, but I kept stalling
