Gas companies raising their prices again, this time by 14¢ a litre ($1.50/gal), tonight. That's a 40¢ a litre increase they've put on us in a month. It's not the gas tax, people. Grocery stores and gas companies are ripping us off left and right. cp24.com/mobile/news/ga…
@bbailey861 You’ve just explained why the carbon tax on gas at the pumps does not cause people to drive less, does not reduce emissions. Adding a few cents in tax has never stopped the public from driving.
@bbailey861 and blaming it on the carbon tax and inflation. How corporate of them. How deceitful.
@bbailey861 read that bio and thats all you need to know😂
@bbailey861 feel free to plan, permit, finance, and build a new refinery easy money right?
@bbailey861 Can any one of you tell me how much tax is on a litre of gas? (GST, PST, and carbon tax) can you also explain the difference between summer blends? I have a feeling I will not get an answer since the narrative seems to imply carbon tax is irrelevant in the cost of living.
@bbailey861 Is your government who is getting your money with all the taxes!
@bbailey861 Makes you wonder why we need the gas tax at all doesn't it?
Actually, I purchase fuel commercially. Here is the list of taxes, that hit your pump price, before the currently $82.80 USD a barrel oil and modest corporate profits. Before we touch it, the government are already into it for 25.4%. That’s WAY higher than any margin we make 😂. Oh, then you get to add Carbon Tax still, that’s added at the end. ✌️
