Holy shit — I had no idea they used frozen Hubig’s pies from the last bath before the fire to reverse engineer the damaged machinery. That’s crazy!
@animatedGeoff Seems like they had to do some tweaking. The early batches were very thick and bready, but it seems they’ve since adjusted and it’s much closer to how I remember them!

@animatedGeoff @hotbaguette_ except it's not identical. the crust is thicker (flour is cheaper than filling), and the filling is thinner. The lemon filling us the consistency of splooge. 👀
