How could that be the bottom? We haven't even felt the impacts of tariffs yet? I have no idea if that was the bottom, but the market bottoms during the storm, not after it passes. 2020 was the perfect example of this. Stocks bottomed 13 months before EPS did.
2020 was an incredibly unusual bear market, sure. But this chart shows that it wasn't an outlier in the sense that most bear markets bottom well in advance of earnings doing the same.
