Just had this guy buy a Caleb Downs diamante card from me for $11.99 with the message “ship ASAP”. Sure enough, looked up his account and saw he has the card listed for $99. His policy states that shipping can take up to 15 days. So this guy is ripping people off under the guise of “nice packaging” and he doesn’t even have the inventory. He gets an order, then buys the card cheap from others to ship off to his buyer. I cancelled the sale and blocked him.

Says it right there in the service description. Up to $20 in coverage. The only thing I am uncertain about honestly is if the card needs to have at least one scan to qualify (scanned in during drop off, scanned in transit by machines, etc). I’ve had a few claims, all paid by coverage via PayPal.

I live across from an elementary school. For the past three mornings since school started back up, the same car has been pulling up around 7 a.m. and parking right in front of my house so they can skip the car line and walk their kid in. My dog loses his mind every time. What used to be a quiet morning now turns into a full-blown barking chaos. One of the first "best practices" I learned about when leveraging a coding agent in an existing project is have it scan the entire codebase and write it's findings to a new architecture.md file (I work with a private instance of a coding agent). This includes things like the reference architecture, naming conventions, data models, etc. Big token spend during this task, but worth the spend. Then, at the end of each session, I have the agent summarize what was worked on, issues, and to do tasks within that same file or another markdown (like memory.md). When I resume my sessions, just point the agent to those files and its caught up to speed on context, things to watch out for, and pending tasks. Pretty sure this is saving me a ton of tokens, but never really put it to the test. Would love to hear feedback from anyone on this or any other best practice when working with existing projects and a coding agent.

Actually working on something like this right now. dbt pipeline to feed agent knowledge base via semantic models. I have a table of about 1000 different level 1, 2, and 3 rules. I am leveraging my AI coding agent to scan the models, identify what rules apply to them based on the data elements, then create the rule as an individual dbt test using a consistent naming convention. The issue is that the agent's logic for the rules needs to be validated, especially the more complex level 2 and 3 business rules...so thinking about a validation agent to verify the logic and flag potential incorrect/invalid instances of rule logic for human review. That will be my first pass at it. Otherwise, I need to incorporate SMEs into the framework to help with the rule validation. Open to any feedback based on experience.

A part of me feels like it’s silly that we collectors spend so much time and effort buying, selling, and trading these little pieces of paper and cardboard. Will there a be a point someday where people just DGAF about them? Is this Tulip Mania? Are we in a collectible bubble?

Went the the Ringling circus today. Pretty fun, but not nearly as cool as it used to be when they had animals. Still some staples…the human canon, the contortionist, acrobats, and others. Oh and pretty criminal to charge $20 for a 24oz can of beer.
