Had an idea over the weekend and started building something, an interview prep PWA that I can add my own questions based on the projects and experience I have gained so far over the past few months. I have added an 'Export as PNG' button to my fractal explorer and now it can export beautiful images of fractals. Now with 3 different settings: HD, Ultra 2x and Ultra 4x. Currently it only works for the viewport, the size of your browser window. But soon there will be a feature to export at a custom resolution. I had always wanted to build a fractal explorer and despite the "simple, elegant" maths at the heart, this was beyond my capabilities. I would still like to know *more* so I will be adding more to this software toy soon. Built with majority of help from Grok and a little bit of Copilot.

Part of the fun of Linux is turning mistakes into learning opportunities. Like when you run updates on your Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and accidentally bork system. It's fine. This became a chance to explore other OS' for the Pi. I used the GUI once and stuck with SSH so choosing a headless OS has saved over 1GB of storage and some overhead. Maybe enough to squeeze another running service.

I will be adding Grok AI in to the mix! For the past few days I was stuck in vibe-samsara: prompt, break, fix, repeat. I needed a second AI to bounce ideas off and advise on code. It's a small project, 3000-ish lines and maybe 10 files. Grok asked for the whole thing, said it would accept a ZIP file but didn't work so uploaded them individually at the same time. As a test, I also gave Grok a screenshot of the project working but with a console log visibly reporting on a bug. Grok found the bug and advised ways around it. I will need to run more tests to check functions work but overall I'm initially impressed.

It's been a few weeks since I last worked on this project so I spent this weekend refactoring. Yesterday this didn't go so well and I had to start again. The short answer is that we are still a long way away from being able to one-shot a software application, even a small one like a web browser extension. I provided screenshots, test files and a README to the AI but the better decision was to abandon this refactor and revert back to the original project. Today was more of a success with adding features such as text manipulation and a theme selector. Although the dark theme needs some refinement. Attached screenshots show progression.
