Who’s going to lead the effort to adopt gondolas as Marin’s primary transit system to replace cars? Imagine taking a gondola from the ferry to Muir Woods and Muir Beach and replacing the roads and parking lots with forests, grasslands, wetlands, & creeks. flip.it/v6eGYW

@Weather_West The risk is to more than just the creeks converted to flood control channels, it is nearly every creek where we have built without hardly any setback - every urban drainage in the Bay Area.

With world class athletes subjected to unhealthy water quality at the Olympics, I wonder about the disconnect between those that know the Siene and Olympic organizers. It is not a good look, but does highlight our poor relationship with urban waterways. npr.org/2024/08/04/g-s…
