@ShaneWenzel I never voted for him. I wish @SonyaSharpYYC had of been elected. Farkas is a liberal masquerading as a conservative.

On June 30, 2026, a fire changed life for Mark and Two Rivers, the business he built from the ground up. We’re halfway to helping his family cover bills while insurance moves slowly. Thanks to 39 donors. Support Mark by donating on the GoFundMe page. Update Sept 23. AHS after telling us if we get the aging whisky tested they will pass it has now changed their mind and has instructed us to dump it (even after initial testing came back fine). We of course will fight it but if we are unable to keep the barrelled whisky that's 8 years or hard work literally poured down the drain. #SupportLocal gofund.me/b3f249f22

@Martyupnorth He doesn't really believe it, but if he pretends to and people buy in it gives him carte blanche to tax anything that "harms" the environment. It's not about saving the planet it's just another revenue stream for a government that chronically overspends.

I ride my bike from Douglasdale to the distillery (42 ave SE) as often as I can. It's about 13km one way of which 10km is the river pathway. I think the most other riders Ive ever encountered on one ride was around 12. This morning it was zero. The safety of bike lanes is great because there are some REALLY bad drivers out there and you have to have your head on a swivel if you dont want to get squished, but the reality is they really arent used enough to justify taking out car lanes or parking.

This little beauty arrived from Normandy France last week and has been filled with 1000 litres of our 3 year aged Bourbon Style whisky. We'll let that sit for at least another two year before bottling. Excited to see what this ex Calvados cask is going add to our whisky!

@JeffreyRWRath Is this due to Bill C-9 Jeffery? One of the cornerstones of a healthy Democracy is free speech. Are police going to start showing up at citizens homes for social media posts? Not good.

@RiseOfAlberta That's exactly right. I f anyone needs an example I would recommend looking at the map of Europe from 1918 to 2000. Many changes, some from conquest, others due to cultural and demographic factors. Borders are rarely static.

@DanWMcLean It would be nice to see legal action against Gondek and Nenshi on this. Misappropriation of tax dollars should be considered theft. Time for accountability.

As true God and true man, Christ offers us the example of self-giving, service, and love. We need His example to learn how to love, not because we are incapable of it, but precisely to teach ourselves and one another what true love is. Learning to act like Jesus, who is the living sign that God has placed within the history of the world, is the work of a lifetime. #HolyThursday
