Hey @notgaetti . Everyone is always so down on guys like Baines being in HOF. I was recently looking at Bill Mazeroski numbers. I just missed the end of his career, but I get it that defense got him in. But his offensive numbers are awful. Why not let Rey Ordonez in, too?!

Always fun to go through old binders and boxes and find some cards worth a little more than expected. These went from binder to top-load. Do you have a threshold for what makes a card top loader or one touch worthy? I typically go with $10-ish. @CardPurchaser

I’m not sure what % of buyers are also sellers, but if they are all buying to sell, how is anyone making money? Prices don’t keep going up! Seems like a super tough gig. @CardPurchaser (Honestly curious…especially if ur not doing mad volume).

Did Topps not put the word “Refractor” on the 2023 Topps Chrome Update RCs that are base refractors? I see it for non-RCs, I think. Carroll refractors don’t seem to note “refractor”. @CardPurchaser

The thing with the 90s and all the comments about cheaters and steroids is this…. We know who was implicated in the steroid scandal, but of the players not mentioned, how do we truly know they were clean? We don’t. Bonds is best. Period.

Hey @notgaetti . Is Chris Sale a few seasons shy of the HOF? I assume he will never make it, but he had 6-7 seasons of complete dominance. It is a shame that his health just could not keep up.

What has happened to the price of early Nolan Ryan cards and Tom Seaver RC? You can’t buy a Ryan RC for under $400. Even a wrinkly mess. It’s insane! Does it come back to earth or is this a new base for these cards? No other pitchers get such a huge premium. @CardPurchaser
