Bruce Brown counterpoint: he's ok but players are *always* over-valued season after they appeared in the finals, watched by all. Again, he's fine, but if Jokic isn't on his team we're not really talking about him in the same way. We call this "the Timofey Mosgov effect."

@A1WolfDay1 @dosnetlive ah. If I thought we were >>that close<< I'd be there. As it is, I'm interested less interested in rentals; more interested in assembling as much of a roster as is possible that will be here through Ant's/Jaden's prime, in pursuit of that elusive "continuity."

@A1WolfDay1 @dosnetlive I'm sure we're not far off from each other's opinions. I'm just saying that there is a "Brown tax" right now. Guys on finals rosters is where I would look *last* if I'm working hard to keep salaries in line.

@A1WolfDay1 @dosnetlive I mean, so did Matthew Dellavedova! I'm just saying that we tend to inflate the value of *every* player that doesn't shit the bed on the biggest stage. Not a terrible accomplishment to be sure, but being on a team with Jokic or peak LeBron helps a guy look good.

4/ If the Wolves are better this year (many reasons to believe they will be) Rudy and KAT will increase their trade value DURING the season. For both, it is currently about as low as it's gonna be.

@4arlandria @jakepaynting @canishoopus @robtodd22 @DaneMooreNBA @brittrobson @JaceFrederick @Kyle_Ratke @KyleTheige @TheJeffBissoy @JonKrawczynski not a huge Oubre guy...I'm increasingly in favor of surrounding Ant w/low-usage, smart vets that enable him. I think of this as a win-win as we don't need guys taking shots away from either Ant or KAT and low-usage players (even smart, effective ones) tend to be undervalued.
