Im nächsten Update von Geofency kann der Tag dann auch mithilfe des lokalen LLM von Apple zusammengefasst werden. Kein Feature, das man unbedingt braucht – aber ich finde, es ist ein witziges Gimmick.

Schon vor der Hitzewelle hatte ich geahnt, was auf uns zukommt, und mit der PortaSplit von Midea geliebäugelt. Ich hätte sogar noch eine zum Angebotspreis im Toom-Baumarkt bekommen können – aber mir war der Aufwand, dafür extra noch einen Transporter zu mieten, dann doch zu groß.

Im nächsten Update von Geofency kommt sogar Apple Intelligence mit dem On-Device-LLM zum Einsatz. Dadurch lassen sich beispielsweise Bezeichnungen wie „Der Münchner Dom“ korrekt auf „Frauenkirche“ auflösen. Genau bei solchen Fällen stößt klassische Fuzzy-Logik an ihre Grenzen.
