Streamers are the worst. 👀 In all seriousness though, I think people are overreacting to the use of AI. With a game that size needing to turn assets every six weeks for updates (or whatever their specific cycle is) is always extremely demanding. Even if they did use AI for a small background asset—who cares.

Using AI didn't bother me to begin with, and honestly, I wasn't even fully convinced it was used on background assets until they confirmed it. Honestly, with how huge the city is in game, I really don't think it's a big deal that a couple were used here and there. If it makes the world feel lived in then it's fine with me.

I love how no matter where you are in this world, it’s just a vibe. #NTE #NevernesstoEverness And just because the game is free, they clearly haven’t cheaped out on the little details either. My Neverness to Everness first impressions video is coming soon, and honestly? I expected “anime GTA gacha” to be the whole joke. Then I played it… and the city actually got me. Here's some screens from a couple of my larger projects. One is a full-fledged content calendar and analytics tracker. I run 14+ companies social accounts and it gets to be unruly. Instead of paying another SaaS I handle it all with the app I built. I'm also building a Mac native game engine from scratch. I just added the ability to make prefabs and scripting is next. 5.5 is what makes this possible.
