I go back and forth with Smash. It's a fun and approachable game for sure, but I get my fill of it pretty quickly. Smash, I feel, is best as a party game to be played occasionally. Great when you're in the mood for it, but that mood only comes around every so often.

As someone who generally doesn't play roguelikes, this game is pretty incredible. Addictive gameplay combined with an engaging narrative while also being the best adaptation on Greek myth's chthonic out there make this a must play. Possibly the best designed indie I've played.

Bethesda RPGs are far from perfect, but they usually nail compelling exploration in their worlds. That and their endlessly charming bugs make for a great time just dicking around. Skyrim isn't amazing, but it's a great time. (Morrowind is better tho)

Call it blasphemy, but every time I've ever tried this game, I got bored after about 30 minutes. Only part of the game I enjoyed was transforming into creatures, which never felt long enough to be worth playing. Never got the hype of this game. Mid TBH.

As a D&D nut, having a bottled 5e experience with a perfected version of BioWare's choice mechanics was mindblowing. This game managed to capture the feeling of playing through an actual campaign better than any other non-tabletop format. Prob my favorite CRPG outright.
