Thank you lots for all the kind responses on my last post. Day 9 here for me and the longest I've gone in a while. I know there are difficult times ahead so I am appreciating the easy days while I can. For some reason, this time I am not getting too many cravings which is a plus.

I am back. At last. It hasn't been a total bender period, but I gave up on myself and recovery for a few months. Eventually got fed up of the cycle of shame, guilt, anxiety, drink, shame and on and on again. I'm back, day 5 but it's a shaky Friday. Much love to everyone ❤

Wanted to go to the pub after work, and the reasoning was "I don't want to go home to an empty house." Then I realised: Even if I went to the pub I'd still come home to an empty house but with less money and dignity, along with more shame and calories. Quiet Friday for me then.
One standard bag of cashew nuts: £2.50 One big bag of chocolate buttons: £1, or two bags for £1.50 But eating healthy is apparently an easy option for everyone according to the media... so annoying!

Totally impossible request, but does anyone in Devon or Somerset have a #generator available to power our wedding TODAY? Our wedding venue is without electricity, power, or water and 87 guests were sent to other hotels last night. Power not being restored until at least 6pm.

Have been having a pretty hard time recently with my emotions and mental health. I self sabotaged a potential relationship because it seemed easier than waiting for the other person to hurt me eventually. How sad. It has really thrown me emotionally and gotten me down 😔
