I've seen people asking: what's the incentive structure for smaller teams to build unique things if it will simply be poached? My belief is that it remains unchanged. You can steal as many ideas as you want, but IF you can't execute on the same level. You will ALWAYS be on the backfoot. No matter how large you are in this space, once you are 'behind' enough times in a row you will lose dominance. People want to be early, people want an edge, people want to profit. There is no loyalty to protocols. This industry is a high stakes place for entrepreneurs. You can go from 0 to 100% share in a matter of 24 hours. You can go from 100% to 10% in a matter of 24 hours. I also believe having an oppressive force at the top will FORCE small teams to find completely absurd and unique solutions that will completely reshape and redefine tokenization. Eventually the next 'big thing' will be born and so falls the hegemon standing in the way. Capitalist markets will always favor the dominant capital interest and when the dominant interest changes so too does the market beliefs.

I’ve been around @thingsmarket since day one building $THINGY, and I wanted to share my thoughts as one of the first people to use the platform What @Linkkzyy and @jahad are building is different They’re actually trying to fix a lot of what has made onchain trading worse and worse over the last few years. Endless slop launches, no repercussions for serial devs, copy traders, insane bundles, and platforms that win whether their users do or not The idea behind Things is to build a better environment for traders, creators, and communities, and align the platform with the people actually using it $THINGY has given me a front row seat to all of it I’ve watched the team listen to feedback, fix problems, make changes, and keep building. There’s still a long way to go, but the vision is much bigger than just another launchpad I’ve only ever been a part of three tokens: $THINGY, $KNOB, and $BENJI.
