We think the trenches deserve to relax a little.
What better time to introduce the Vesting Curve.
It’s pretty simple:
You buy a coin at a low market cap?
• Less of your supply is instantly tradable
You buy a coin at a high market cap?
• More of your supply is instantly tradable
Your non tradable supply is vested back to you every second to keep things fluid.
We want to provide the middle ground.
Keeping the speed of the trenches but with enough breathing room for markets to actually form.
We're also seeking partners for the communities system ahead of full release.
If you believe you'd be a good fit, reach out to us via DMs or hop into the official discord and make a ticket:

If you're not a partner, don't miss out on that 0.5 Sol in rent. Sign up and join a community!

We’re all sick of seeing ref links.
It doesn’t matter if I use this KOL’s code or that trader’s code, I get nothing in return.
Why don’t we reward people based on what they can give back? In the end it’s our money they’re pocketing.
That’s why we added Communities.
Owners of communities can earn up to 0.25% on all swaps (yes you heard that correctly) from traders in their community.
• Whether you create a comm for your coin and set all fees to buybacks and burns.
• Whether you’re an up and coming trader who’s getting traction and wants to capitalize on the hype.
• Whether you already have an audience and want to simply share thoughts and let interested folks join.
Your creativity is the limit.
If you still want your money to continue to get burned, be our guest.
But on Things, the power is finally in your hands.
A core component of Things is creating a balanced environment for all parties.
Right now, deployers have 0 downside and traders take it all.
You mentioned superior research. For traders, that could mean being early and / or being convicted.
On Things, makers will deal with the same tradeoffs.
• You can be early to claim a coin so that other people can't
• You can showcase conviction in that Thing by continuing to pay rent
This is the dynamic all traders have to face and it's only fair that makers face it as well.
It is our belief that if someone rents the rights to a token before you, that maker has successfully out-competed you - why have it any other way?
We have two goals in mind.
1. Fix what’s wrong right now
2. Push this space forward
We’re focused on #1 right now.
So in order to fix what’s wrong, we need to actually know what’s wrong.
And what better way to do that than to ask you.
With that, give things.market/about a read.
Then reply to this post with:
• Any major pain point you’re experiencing in the trenches
• Why Things isn’t addressing it
If the community doesn’t think Things has it covered, we’ll send you a nice goodie and work on fixing it right away.
Great point. Say you have a gallon of water.
- Table 1 has 10 buckets.
- Table 2 has 3 buckets.
The buckets on table 2 will have more water on average.
This is what we hope to do with the one coin per concept feature.
You mentioned projects losing momentum because the next shiny thing appears. Now there will be less shiny new things for that momentum to go to.
If momentum is gonna go somewhere else, it’ll probably be a higher quality coin that deserves the shift in attention.
We definitely agree. Fees are the largest drain right now.
Risking $1000 per trade 20 times and breaking even leaves you with ~$500 off fees alone… crazy right?
Things addresses this in two ways:
1. Dropping fees from 4.7% to 1%
2. We have nothing to gain from any swap fee.
Of the 0.5% on swaps, 100% of that is going directly back into the ecosystem's pockets through communities, makers, and liquidity provision.
We originally wanted 0% on swaps but came to the conclusion that it’s impossible to remove them without 'breaking' the wheel because liquidity provision is necessary.
Also an economy must create feedback loops for coins if we want them to flourish.
The trenches are a game of trading hands which concentrates wealth to the top.
Our model prevents this as fees will trickle down and spread across the ecosystem much more evenly.
