Once again, abject ignorance rears its ugly head. Sign language and English are two different languages. English closed captions and ASL ARE NOT the same language.

One of my family members was a home healthcare aid in Florida for years - took great care of her patients and worked so hard to advocate for them and take care of their myriad of health problems. She lived in poverty her entire life. The folks who take care of us deserve better.
