Yesterday, we enjoyed a site visit from Mechanical Engineering Students from @dundeeuni. The students were tasked with designing a cooling system for a battery pack using the refrigeration cycle. It was great to see young engineering talent hard at work!

Yesterday was our cell delivery day, so production assistants Lynn and Clare spent a few ours sampling cells in order to test the impedance and voltages. This is to ensure the quality is consistent, and also to balance the cells across the battery packs.

This diesel TX4 taxi's going electric, using Scottish cells, battery modules and battery management system. Almost 3x the electric range of a new LEVC cab, for half the price. It should be ready to hit the road for test drives in early 2022.

Renewables are now competitive with oil and gas and much cheaper than coal. Fossil fuels are subsidised by $11m a minute. Yet, even with this help, fossil fuels are losing in the market. Ditching fossil fuels is good for business, good for health and good for the planet!
