@YinYangTurbo @shagbark_hick For one thing, just because someone lives in a $55k trailer doesn't mean that's all they can afford. That said, property tax isn't about capacity to pay. It's about dividing the cost of local government and schools by the total assessed value of homes in an area.

They may have some conservative takes on the more radical social ideas, but still vote for authoritarianism because that's all they've known.
