I still get DMs every week asking if @TailoredTexting can actually support Shopify THC / CBD brands. The answer is still yes. We’ve been live in the category since December, working with over 20 of these brands currently, and have had no carrier issues and 100,000s of texts sent. Brands can send links to real product pages and LPs, mention THC / CBD in texts and more. With proper age gating and a consent-based program, THC / CBD brands should be able to text customers just like alcohol brands do. If you know a brand in the space, I’d love to support them.
Another premium brand joined Tailored and is already seeing strong abandoned checkout recovery results. I think iMessage is especially powerful for these higher consideration brands. The blue bubble carries a level of trust / familiarity / aesthetic that traditional SMS just doesn’t have. Their normal AOV is around $175, but Tailored-recovered orders are currently averaging $250+. Small sample size for now but hopefully this holds / becomes even higher.
