Most founders shop for the agent first. The agent is the easy part. The brand voice loaded behind it is what makes the output yours. Start there.
Showed him what changes when the brand voice is loaded as a real input. Product copy in his tone. Email flows that sound like his About page. Support replies that read like his team wrote them. Same idea is live on surinder.design right now.
A Shopify founder asked me last week if a custom AI agent was worth it over the hosted ones he was testing. Asked him a different question first. What does your store sound like. He paused. Pulled up his About page. The rest of the site reads nothing like it.
