@jina Oooh same. I have to edit myself verbally everytime and it’s exhausting. Why should I wait for the information to come to my listener’s mind when I can provide it already? In my mind “ I’m making things easier” in theirs “Who does she think she is telling me XYZ out of the blue?”
@jina I absolutely notice myself doing things like this, and mid-sentence I know it's going to go awry. Then I try to compensate, and it just gets worse

@jina This is my default too. I've had to realize in written communication like Slack that I need to edit/cut/swap things around to be more direct. It's tough! Haven't figured it out with verbal/spontaneous communication though so I run into that a lot too 🫠
