What anxious designers need to read and internalize: “Half of tech right now feels amplified by AI—more capable, more confident, more excited than they've been in their entire career. The other half feels shaken by it—less sure of their value and whether there’s still a place for them. Which side of that line you fall on predicts how you feel about your career more than anything else, including your role, seniority, company size, or any other measure we collected.” NO ONE gets a free pass through the AI transition. Participation in the new economy requires everyone to unlearn/relearn how their trade works with this new technology. The good news? No one has a head start. Change is uncomfortable, but not cause for career paralysis. You’ll be happier when you realize you’re all the more capable and productive with AI.

@AnukulAnuradha @TopDriverIndia @thesureshg I've been using the Decathlon ST100 yellow tinted glasses during night drives. Polycarbonate lens with a wide field of view and softens the white glare but the modern projector/LED light brightness is too much.

I relate so much with this. There's a lot to appreciate in ancient Indian knowledge. But it's critical to throw out pseudoscience. IITs, if they continue down this path, are destined for irrelevance. Faculty, students and alumni need to speak up.

Hello @IndianOilcl, I have had a perfectly functional Indane gas connection for over 7 years (same consumer id) and one fine morning my KYC was suddenly blocked. As instructed, I visited my distributor (more than 6 times now), but in vain. The distributor cites a backend issue, saying another consumer id is linked to my Aadhaar and that only IOC/the Field Officer can fix it. The Field Officer has never responded to my calls or WhatsApp messages. My emails to [email protected] and a concerned officer have remained unanswered, and every service request raised on cx.indianoil.in simply directs me back to the distributor. Nobody seems willing to take ownership. This endless runaround has been going on for over two months, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to manage my household without a functional LPG connection. Can someone at Indian Oil please look into this and help resolve it instead of sending me in circles? I would genuinely appreciate a response, more importantly, a solution.

There will be no AI jobpocalypse. The story that AI will lead to massive unemployment is stoking unnecessary fear. AI — like any other technology — does affect jobs, but telling overblown stories of large-scale unemployment is irresponsible and damaging. Let’s put a stop to it.
