@BartGonnissen 9/11 25 yrs ago I was working on a ship in Hodeidah Yemen and heard shooting in the town - I thought a coup was going on. Then my office texted get to a tv. In hotel foyer everyone was celebrating ‘very good Mr Steve. Down with USA!’ ‘Very bad’ I said and went to my room.

@BartGonnissen So much nodded through until a disaster. The classification society American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) which you would expect to be on a par with Lloyd’s behaving like Togo or Cameroon. ABS now the largest society for tonnage (NKK for number of vessels.)
