Impossible is a stretch. Anything is possible (they trade a 6th rounder to remove the condition and the Browns are happy to get Burrow to the NFC; heck, maybe the Browns have to throw in a 6th rounder). Also, there is some uncertainty on whether it precludes trading the pick, or rather, if they do trade it, then they can no longer trade Garrett into the AFC North. Regardless, this cute little thing that is now the fashion is a 0% issue and/or impediment to anything, imo. (Even if they did want to trade Garrett to the Steelers, for example, that condition would be part of the trade package consideration in one way or another.)

My experience is that this is demonstrably false. I live in Northern Idaho with an engaged and active ‘conservative’ voter base and political organization. The left still rules and the right glorifies over peripheral victories. Why? 1) Most voters are barely engaged and will vote for the cowboy hat and boots with zero attention to previous or future actions of said hat & boots. 2) Most people are still susceptible to newspeak and ‘extremist’ labels that are easy to pin on and be accepted by the casual ‘conservative’ voter. 3) The left willfully lies and disguises themselves in order to win and govern in secret. 4) The left will still terrorize to get their way after a ‘loss’ they deem important and the right will always eventually concede the issue because it is just easier that way. 5) ultimately 90% of local governance is turned over to the permanent borg of ‘experts’ who are all educated and empowered through leftist believes and operations.

That’s the thing, though, and why the ‘all in’ is such nonsense. They are always ‘all in’ and always trying to compete and build whether draft, free agency, trades, or whatever. If one avenue doesn’t work, they just try again. It sounds simple and like all teams are, but most just follow the simple paths and are content to print money. The Rams are a special group, for sure.
