Comcast's own support docs say the data can be disclosed under subpoena, court order or search warrant, with no requirement to notify you. The Gateway detects motion via radio-signal disruption between it and up to 5 connected devices.

🕶️Meta plans to embed facial recognition into their 'pervert glasses' - newly surfaced patent documents reveal. This isn't the first time they tried to do this... 🔸Earlier this year, Meta began adding facial recognition code into an app for its smart glasses which could identity strangers. 🔸A Swedish newspaper revealed that sensitive footage from these glasses was being used to train Meta AI. 🔸Meta backtracked, removing the tech from their glasses. But now...they’re once again planning to embed this intrusive tech into their creepy eyewear. Whilst the EU is reining in facial recognition, Britain’s wild-west approach means that this Orwellian software could be a gift to stalkers, sex offenders and domestic abusers. #StopFacialRecognition

Meta just patented AI glasses that can identify everyone in a room (by face, in real time) and then auto-generate a "highlight reel" of your night, stitched together from footage of the people it recognizes. The patent even spells out a use case: capturing highlights at a dinner party. Without the guests' knowledge. Without their consent. Researchers have already labelled Meta’s glasses "pervert glasses" after users filmed strangers and reverse-searched their faces. Meta's answer to that backlash: patent the feature... and automate it. "Highlight reel" is Meta's term. The people being filmed without knowing will probably call it something fucking else.

La putain de bombe n’est plus la fuite de données. C’est leur FUSION avec l’IA. Nom, adresse, téléphone, IBAN, identité, données administratives… Ajoute ta voix clonée par IA à partir d’un échantillon : l’escroc peut tenter de devenir ton double numérique. Faux crédits. Comptes ouverts à ton nom. SIM swapping. Piratage d’email. Achats. Abonnements. Faux dossiers. Arnaques à tes proches avec une imitation de TA VOIX. Faux appels d’urgence. Extorsion. Fraude bancaire. Fichage. Demain, l’IA peut industrialiser le croisement des fuites, sélectionner les victimes les plus exploitables et fabriquer des arnaques personnalisées à une échelle monstrueuse. Et voilà l’absurdité : l’État et les entreprises accumulent toujours plus de données pour « sécuriser » ton identité. Mais lorsqu’elles sont compromises, tu ne peux pas changer ton visage, ta voix, ta date de naissance ou ton passé comme un putain de mot de passe. On a transformé l’identité humaine en base de données. Une fois copiée, elle ne t’appartient plus exclusivement. Le cauchemar numérique n’est pas qu’un hacker sache qui tu es. @IntCyberDigest Bibliophile here. But why 'rare books'? Is there a rare book that doesn't have a modern reprint? A rare book that isn't already scanned and on annas archive? I've read thousands of handwritten document in old script that's almost impossible to read and process. Can AI read that?
