Maryland's governor says the ship's mayday call enabled officials to limit traffic on Baltimore's Key Bridge before the crash that caused the bridge to collapse. The freighter lost power before it struck as you can see in video, this is a terrible accident and hard to watch.
WATCH: Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld updates the search and rescue effort after the Baltimore bridge collapse, Teams are searching for six people.
@Sky_Lee_1 There's something weird about how the bridge collapsed. I can understand the section of the bridge right under the pillar that was hit collapsing. But why did the right most section of the bridge in the video collapse?

@Sky_Lee_1 I’m amazed that there was someone who actually was in the right place at the exact right time to be able to shoot this video from beginning to end. It was meant to be. Hid works in mysterious ways 🙏🏻
@Sky_Lee_1 Why didn't they STOP all traffic? The ones on the bridge already could have made it, but there are cars zooming over at the moment of impact. There are traffic lights on both sides. I don't understand.
@Sky_Lee_1 No matter what the cause of this latest disaster is, greedy price gouging grocers & assorted GOP protected corporations are going to use this to stick it to consumer$. As always. Because we don’t pay quite enough. Probably time for that third job to support #WelfareBillionaires
