I am so happy to be home. I’m excited to be the father and husband I want to be, and the senator Pennsylvania deserves. Pennsylvanians have always had my back, and I will always have theirs.
I am extremely grateful to the incredible team at Walter Reed. The care they provided changed my life. I will have more to say about this soon, but for now I want everyone to know that depression is treatable, and treatment works.
This isn’t about politics — right now there are people who are suffering with depression in red counties and blue counties. If you need help, please get help.
@SenFettermanPA Dude....I don't get a 6 week paid vacation.
@SenFettermanPA I wish you well, @SenFettermanPA .
@SenFettermanPA @TheProletaria11 Holy crap I actually agree with you on something. Wow there is a first time for everything!
@SenFettermanPA In all honesty you should step down from office if you actually cared about your health, family and Pennsylvania.
@SenFettermanPA I’m glad you’re doing better Senator. I differ politically but I see the humanity in all.
@SenFettermanPA We’re proud of you John. For fighting for PA and yourself. Inspiration. Go tackle Washington
@SenFettermanPA Most people can’t afford nor have the “job” where they just can stop working for 2 months for in treatment all expense paid with doctors and nurses 24/7and staff do your job and at best tell you what they are doing occasionally. 🤡🌎
@SenFettermanPA So, you admittedly suffer from a condition that makes you unable to deal with day to day. But... Resigning isnt your path. You value power over your mental health. Clearly you are not in posession of the latter, which disqualifies you from the former.
@SenFettermanPA If everyone had access to quality care, we could do just that.
