I am so happy to be home. I’m excited to be the father and husband I want to be, and the senator Pennsylvania deserves. Pennsylvanians have always had my back, and I will always have theirs.

I am extremely grateful to the incredible team at Walter Reed. The care they provided changed my life. I will have more to say about this soon, but for now I want everyone to know that depression is treatable, and treatment works.

This isn’t about politics — right now there are people who are suffering with depression in red counties and blue counties. If you need help, please get help.

@SenFettermanPA Thank you 🙏 sir for your honesty & openness. You have many fans !

@SenFettermanPA I think it's much more treatable when you have money and good insurance. When you're less advantaged you get crappy providers, less access to treatment, and get left to suffer.

@SenFettermanPA Thank you for having the courage to get help and the vulnerability to show what healing looks like - it looks like anyone of us. The more we share our stories the easier it is for someone else to share theirs and hopefully help someone else.

@SenFettermanPA Anyone that lives in PA that has been wrongfully charged with felony fraud by the PA State Attorney General's Office for SNAP fraud, get in touch with me. I know for a fact this is happening and I am trying to fix it. I need help, get this around Twitter. PA is ruining the lives…

@SenFettermanPA Senator, mental healthcare in this country sucks. I had to hospitalize my youngest twice for suicidal thoughts brought on by depression and anxiety. Fortunately we found good care, but it was in spite of our insurance, not because of it. Please let your experience drive changes.

@SenFettermanPA Very happy for you and your family that you’re feeling better. Join Senators Smith & Collins effort to repeal the Medicare 190 Day lifetime limit of in-patient psychiatric care. Mental health care is the only illness that is restricted by Medicare. 🙏🏽❤️

@SenFettermanPA Walter Reed did no one favors by concealing John Fetterman's condition. Sadly, vegetative state seems the best it could be, given the double's re-emergence.
