Ever wondered why people hide ducks on cruise ships? It’s all part of a wholesome little tradition designed to make strangers smile. People secretly leave ducks around the ship for others to find, like a kindness treasure hunt at sea. So Sebbie decided to join in when he stayed on the @sunbornlondon to create tiny moments of unexpected happiness 🐥😋

“They say what is meant for you will find you.” On this day, that couldn’t have felt more true. A chance encounter with a stranger led to Sebbie being told that her child had passed away and had been a “butterfly child”, a term often used for those living with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare genetic condition that makes the skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing. It was as if they were meant to meet that day. Sebbie happened to be carrying a crystal butterfly and a shining star in his bag. After hearing her story, he gifted the butterfly to the mother and the star to her daughter. What followed was one of those moments that is hard to explain. Two small gifts with two deeply personal meanings. Of all the people Sebbie could have met that day, somehow he met them. And that’s a moment none of us will forget 💙🦋✨

@KSI and Sebbie have more in common than people might think… KSI stands for Knowledge, Strength and Integrity. Having the knowledge to understand others, the strength to keep going when things get tough, and the integrity to do the right thing when nobody is watching are values we should all strive to live by. They’re also values that sit at the heart of Sebbie’s mission to spread kindness and make a positive difference in the lives of others. When Sebbie went to the @BGT Semi-Finals, he set out to do what he always does: spread a little kindness, this time by gifting the judges personalised coasters featuring the animals they love. Sebbie never sets out expecting anything in return. He does it simply to make others smile. But when KSI recognised Sebbie at the end of the show and personally thanked him, it served as a powerful reminder of what kindness is really all about. No matter who you are, your following, your status or your fame, kindness is the ultimate universal leveller. It doesn’t care about background, age or circumstance. Whether you’re on a stage, behind a screen or standing in a crowd, kindness has the power to bring people together, make people feel seen and create connections that might never have happened otherwise. Who turns up to Britain’s Got Talent with coasters covered in the judges’ pets? 😂 After lots of research, Sebbie realised that the one thing they all have in common is their love for their animals. As a huge BGT fan, Sebbie knows the judges always have their drinks on the desk during the live shows, so he wanted to give them something practical, personal and guaranteed to make them smile. So he created personalised coasters featuring the pets they love most. Safe to say the judges loved them, and their thank yous meant the world to Sebbie. Good luck to all of tonight’s finalists ❤️

Doctors said Sebbie may never speak. But for years, @PTXofficial helped him find his voice. As part of his speech therapy journey, Sebbie watched their videos over and over again, copying their mouth movements, sounds and beatboxing techniques to help strengthen the muscles needed for speech. When he finally got the chance to meet the band who changed his life, not only was he able to thank them in person, but he also gifted them some VocalZone Tea to help protect the voices that helped him find his own. Sebbie’s kindness left such a lasting impression on @SimonCowell , he invited him back to Britain’s Got Talent years later as his guest of honour 👀 After first meeting Simon a few years ago and gifting him a Back to the Future toy car “for the man that has everything” to give him the power of time travel, Simon invited Sebbie down to watch the semi-finals last weekend as a return of that gesture. From making the judges smile to spreading positivity around Eventim Apollo, Sebbie absolutely loved every second. Bring on the final this Saturday… who are you voting for? ⭐️

In honour of International Nurses Day this week, Sebbie wanted to give back not only to the incredible nurses, but also to the children on the hospital ward they care for every single day. After spending so much of his childhood in and out of hospital, we know just how much comfort, care and reassurance nurses bring during some of life’s most difficult moments. And whilst Sebbie may now be older, hospitals, appointments and ongoing care are still very much part of everyday life. With the help of Sweet Cherry Publishing, Sebbie handed out a variety of amazing books to the children on the ward to hopefully bring some smiles during difficult moments, including a new inclusive Peppa Pig story featuring deaf representation and sign language support, something that simply never existed when Sebbie was younger. For children growing up facing additional challenges, feeling represented, included and understood can mean everything. When two worlds collide and “no” becomes “yes.” Happy 50th Birthday to @KingsTrust . For 50 years, The King’s Trust has helped young people build confidence, skills and opportunities for the future. And for the last 5 years, Sebbie has been spreading kindness while proving that disability should never define what someone can achieve. Doctors once told Sebbie he may never walk or achieve movement independently. But Sebbie has spent his whole life proving people wrong, which is why this connection felt so meaningful. The incredible young people at The King’s Trust chose to support Sebbie as part of their fundraising project, raising £200 through walks and cake sales. They connected with his story because they understand what it feels like to face barriers, hear “no,” and keep going anyway. To thank them, Sebbie wanted to give something back, surprising every student with chocolate and food for their graduation celebration to recognise their hard work, resilience and achievements. As celebrations take over Earl’s Court tonight, we wanted to shine a light on this special connection. While The King’s Trust opens doors to careers, Sebbie is working towards opening doors to independence through his dream of building an Assisted Living Village for disabled young adults. Over 2,000 days of kindness and this one might be his most full-circle yet. This week is Deaf Awareness Week and also Children’s Book Week, and as Sebbie had been gifted a copy of the brand-new Peppa Pig: Hearing Test from his friends at @SweetCherryPub , he decided to take this as an act of kindness to Cathedral Hearing, who have been such incredible supporters of his over the years. When Sebbie was a baby, we were told he would never speak. However, Sebbie found his voice in actions. He showed us all that it wasn’t about words, it was about impact. By doing a random act of kindness every single day to make a stranger smile, he has raised the funds to provide over 500 communication devices to schools, organisations and families in need, proving every single day that “different” is a superpower. This is so much more than just a book donation, Sebbie is donating confidence and representation. When Sebbie was younger, inclusive books like this, especially ones featuring communication symbols, were rare, expensive and often felt clinical. They simply didn’t exist on normal shelves. Now, by donating this book, he is helping children who are visiting with their parents to feel seen, understood and celebrated while they wait. A massive shout-out to Hasbro, @every_cherry , @SweetCherryPub and of course @peppapig. Thank you for being so fantastic and creating something so inclusive that truly changes the experience for the next generation. This is another chapter in Sebbie’s story of kindness, but it is also the beginning of so many other people’s stories. Because this isn’t just a book; it’s a reminder that every child deserves to feel like the hero of their own journey 📚✨💙

A different post today from Seb’s mum… A few people have recently said to me, “it’s not really Seb coming up with these ideas, is it?” It got me thinking, not in a bad way, just that maybe people are curious about how it all comes together. So today, I’m sharing what happens behind the scenes, every night… of every day… of every week… this is what Seb does (and yes, the mess he makes!) and how his ideas come to life. Every night, without fail, he goes out into the garage with his “kindness box”, something he’s built up over the last six years and he sits there, making a right old mess, deciding how he can make someone smile the next day. No one tells Seb what to do. No one plans it for him. It’s just him, thinking about how he can make someone smile. These comments do take me back a little. When Seb was first diagnosed, we were told a lot of things. Sebbie has a rare condition where parts of his brain don’t communicate the way they should, something called agenesis of the corpus callosum. In simple terms, the pathways between the two sides aren’t fully there, parts of his brain are missing. It means things like one hand doing up a button while the other is undoing it at the same time. Back then, we were told he might never walk, never talk and maybe never be able to think. There are lots of people online who talk about kindness, and that’s a lovely thing, but Sebbie actually does it, with no agenda behind it, and the only expectation is to make a stranger smile. Not many people choose to make someone new smile, on purpose, every single day. So maybe instead of questioning it, we can just share it. Because when you look at what he deals with on a day-to-day basis, kindness really does feel like a superpower. Seb isn’t an angel, he’s human. He has his struggles and moments, like we all do. But he has this innocent joy that gives him purpose, and it’s a beautiful thing to watch. Please believe in the power of kindness, and in Seb’s ideas to make a difference.
