Blocking traffic is illegal, inconsiderate and wrong. But using deadly force against people for blocking traffic is a crime. Do not commit crimes. And it is flagrantly irresponsible for a United States Senators to encourage the commission of crimes.

@ScottGreenfield If cops don’t start doing their jobs, violence will be the inevitable result.
@ScottGreenfield The tweet you quoted said nothing about using deadly force. You can certainly use appropriate repellant force to stop criminals. Why did you pose that strawman?
@ScottGreenfield Where does he even imply "deadly force"??
@ScottGreenfield Where did he say to use deadly force?
@ScottGreenfield A good rule of thumb: if your response to violence (or potential violence) is violence, you are a perpetrator of violence. If your response to threats to liberty is to violate the rights of those that may be a threat, you do not believe in liberty. Period.
@ScottGreenfield What if you are taking yourself or someone else to the hospital for what could be a life threatening emergency?
@ScottGreenfield Cotton isn't suggesting deadly force.
@ScottGreenfield did he say deadly force? If so, I missed it. Pull them off the road, drive slowly thru them, spray them with pepper spray..
