@SamMuchnick @davemeltzerWON I'm not Dave, but I'm pretty sure he used to say that ticket sales were a reflection of the interest generated from TV from ~six months prior as that was when shows went on sale, though things have almost certainly changed in this day and age.
I think house attendance is a greater sign of a promotions current well being than ratings. People consume the product multiple ways now, Twitter, reddit, non Nielsen sites. Can you get those people to go to your show? That's the mark of a strong promotion #OldSchool
