The @MarkMcGowanMP Gov has done a great job of extinguishing COVID in WA. However they have now also extinguished all hope of WA sports fans to watch live sport for the foreseeable future;kids watching their idols & a massive flow on for development & grass roots.Enough is enough

(3/3) - there are NO junior events (singles or doubles) - there is NO wheelchair or quad events (singles or doubles) It bloody sucks for all the above, plus others, who will be affected by changes to schedules, rules, entries, points allocation & more, over the coming months.

(2/3) - there is NO qualifying draw for M or W (affecting 128 players from each gender) - M & W doubles draw is at 50% reduction (affecting 64 players from each gender), and players can only use their doubles ranking to enter - there is NO mixed doubles draw

Just got announced that the US Open will go ahead WITHOUT wheelchair tennis.. Players weren’t consulted. I thought I did enough to qualify - 2x champion, number 1 in the world. But unfortunately I missed the only thing that mattered, being able to walk. Disgusting discrimination

French Open goes rogue. Zero mention of ITF, ATP or WTA in announcement. No consultation with players. A week following @usopen. Same week as @LaverCup, @DavisCup World Group I & II ties, plus host of other Tour events. If I wasn't invested I'd get the 🍿 out. Pure madness

Congratulations to the AFLW on being well ahead of other sporting codes in CoronaVirus protection. Many weeks ago they worked out the benefits of having no fans at the games.
