@nameeverynumber Ok, that sounds complicated and I am not familiar with that 🙈. I studied engineering and am putting together material for solving numerical equations in computers (so something different). I hope that you can get the right support so that the material is less frustrating!

@PhDForum As part of my PhD research proposal report, I made a time plan of what I wanted to achieve every 6 months over the 3 year period. Was I always on time? No. Was the list too ambitious? Yeah. But this ultimately helped keep me focused and on track in the long run.

@Gerka Ah, I understand. The main project I had to complete in my first CS class in university was a unit converter. I'm not sure how spectacular your friends will find it, but it certainly helped practice the basics of scripting (I remember seeing a lot of red errors...) 🙂
