@Uber @Uber_Support My identity was stolen and that person used my name, address, and SSN to sign up as a driver for your company. I have no idea how they got past the background checks, but they did. The only reason I know this is because Uber sent me a 1099. 1/10

No matter what I do Uber seems unwilling to help. In the process I learned that Uber does not use any kind of internal ticketing system for problems, so each time it goes to a customer service rep, they have 0 knowledge of all the previous conversations I've had about this. 2/3

@pete_grieve @money I read your article from May 7, 2024 about people using fake identities on Uber Eats. This has happened to me, with someone stealing my identity and using it to drive for Uber. I have contacted @Uber_Support and @Uber about this many, many times now. 1/3

@Uber_Support It has been a week. All I got in response was an email from a random Uber customer service rep who told me they can't help me unless I email them from the original email account, which as I've explained 10 times now, was created by someone who stole my identity. Can someone help?

@Telecharge I am disappointed and frustrated with your business practices. I recently bought expensive seats to a Broadway show because your seating chart showed only 4 tickets left in the theater, then I got there to find most of the cheap seats unsold. Pretty shady. #Broadway
