@imralanyrx And then you have to trade other good players to make the cap work. Smartest thing the Sabres can do is keep Helenius and use his next 2 ELC years to have a loaded roster with depth.

@MattKopnak And absolutely terrifying that Jarmo was probably packaging them up near the trade deadline. Right now the core of the team to build around feels like the <25 year olds. Keep the veterans to insulate them and let them develop, instead of trading them to help our veteran group.

@MattKopnak I’m closer to 9.5. Team looks lost without Ostlund. Norris is hurt (again) and didn’t look right before that. McLeod has had zero impact outside the PK. And Kozak isn’t able to play higher up in the lineup. Hoping Konsta can save the day at this point.

@TageInASlug It’s a gorgeous jersey but they wore it in maybe the most cursed season of the drought. I doubt many people bought them at the time so hard to find now but they’re sweet — way better than RR Goathead.
