@Grey_0G Supposedly a Remington Core-Lokt, a very old cup & core design. Practically a Model T of the rifle bullet world. The unpredictability of this construction is why we have so many newer, better designs.

@Gpalma1999 We all do that now and again. Took my LCP II to the range recently. Between the trigger and miniscule sight radius, it can be full of surprises. But if I work on shooting it better, it will improve results with everything else.

@LucianArgues In NRA competition, marksman is the classification with the lowest average. The score range for marksman starts at 0. We have 2 classifications above expert - master & high master. My experience is in high power rifle. Other sports may have different classifications.

@ewfisher1 @FenixAmmunition Long ago, I picked up some 150 grain round nosed Core-Lokt that were designed for 30-30. They just scream "deer". I've shot some in my M1, just on paper. Not bad bullets within limits, but certainly a few generations behind current designs.

@NuclearYote4570 @fourboxesdiner The ban is under state law, not federal. ATF is highly unlikely to get involved, especially under the current administration. The state hasn't put any energy into confiscating the ARs that weren't registered before the deadline, in a surprising display of wisdom.

@gunrights Illinois has gone to a kind of e-verify on their FOID & CCL cards. They no longer carry an expiration date. There's a online system to confirm you are current & not withdrawn. If gun-hating Illinois can do this, why not ATF?

@SamaHoole Not sure about the UK, but milk in the USA routinely has vitamin D added. Not required, but very common. Legally required in Canada.

@ChangYeeFong77 @ShamashAran The popular expression of the FIAT name is "Fix It Again Tony", for good reason. My 1974 Fiat 128 broke 5-6 clutch cables. Had to change the clutch. All on a car that was dunked at about 55,000 miles. But it was fun to drive when it worked, and economical.

@ptrschmdtnlsn You could wire one up for a fraction of that cost. A $20 DMM will tell you if you are on different phases. Doesn't make it a good idea, though.
