@BenKaspick Correct part: Giants are cheap and have only themselves to blame. Incorrect part: Lack of repeat WS winner equals parity. Postseason parity in baseball is due to the disparity between a 5-game sample vs. 162. But what happens during those 162 has much to do with payroll.

@BenKaspick Multiple things can be true: - Zaidi could have improved the roster but didn’t. - It’s reasonable for fans to be frustrated & expect a better starting rotation when in such strong playoff contention. - Current team has been solid, is still in the mix & remains worth rooting for.
