Ravens announce that they have picked up OLB Odafe Oweh’s fifth-year option. He’s under contract for two more years
Factoring in his new 2-year extension, Ravens WR Rashod Bateman is now set to earn a base value of $15.25M over the next three seasons. He has an additional escalator for 2026 of $1.5M that brings the max value of the deal to $16.75M.
This is a likely what spurred the new 3-yr deal. By not showing up on time, Bateman would only have had 3 accrued seasons after this season, so the 5th yr option would not have been available & he would have been a RFA in 2025. Instead, they did a deal that works for both sides.

The #Ravens came into the draft with OL, WR, DB & Edge concerns. They largely addressed that with: - arguably the best cover CB - a starting RT who can play LT - an edge who has multi-sack upside - a ridiculous athlete WR who can make big plays downfield I’m very happy.
