I do think the COVID years heightened things this year for sure. Three of those six QBs all very obviously benefitted from having the extra year (which again, kinda weird that wasn't approached with more caution!!!)

JJ McCarthy landed in the single best spot to get the most out of him
Caleb/Rome was pretty chalk but my god that's an incredible pairing. "Chaotic" QB with as steady a WR as you can find in the NFL draft. They will make each other better.

Not enough Xavier Legette talk on here IMO. 4.39 40 at 221 pounds is real nifty and matches the tape. He's needed some time to breakout, but hadn't seen much opportunity and the senior film is good. I'd take him at a discount relative to a lot of these early, lighter speedsters.

Was talking with @QBKlass yesterday that the older I get, and the longer I’ve been around the sport, the more I’ve become “just draft the big, strong athlete” guy.
