The New Testament told us time and time again how to interpret Jesus calling God Father and God calling Jesus Son. There is a rich history of theology on the trinity that you can look into. The three persons of God have relationship to each other. But more specifically to address your sarcastic question, Jesus incarnated as a man and experienced human emotions and temptations, of course he prayed to our Father in heaven just as we are instructed to do.

I misunderstood a bit, Jesus claimed there would be no marriage, Paul said that in Christ there is neither male nor female but I think that is a spiritual statement of how God regards us, still relevant because LDS teaches that men can become exhalted if they are eternally sealed in marriage which is clearly against the Mark and Galations passages I referenced. From Mark 12 24 Jesus replied, “Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? 25 When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 26 Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[d]? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. @LargeInStature_ No you can't look at the Doctrines and Covenants and say you're supposed to love the same way as other Christians. The modern LDS church has adjusted to look more like modern Christianity.

@jkimballcook I've read some of the Doctrines and Covenants too, which are also official LDS scripture. The BOM is your best foot forward comparatively and I have to say it felt like a sin just to read it.
