in my day job, one often identifies a common-sense improvement to recommendation systems, tries a naive implementation, regresses metrics (inevitably discovering that the targeting of the naive intervention is poor), invests a ton of effort into audience matching…

I don’t really get the Pangram hype. I do not think it’s AI detection is really out of world. A single typo can make it go from 100 percent AI to 100 percent human. Plus if you have Claude trained enough to write in your voice it kind of bypasses as well.
