Georgia polling places are being targeted by multiple bomb threats. Authorities said that earlier threats appeared to originate in Russia. It is not clear if this is more of the same, or some kind of copycat. Either way, it is interfering with the Election process.

Our officers just arrested a man who was stopped during our screening process at the Capitol Visitor Center (CVC). The man smelled like fuel, had a torch & a flare gun. The CVC is closed for tours for the day, while we investigate. We will provide more information when we can.

Several polling places in Fulton County received threats and had to be temporarily closed. County election officials are seeking a court order on keep those sites open a little later.
