@paulkniest No, it’s not that simple. Abbott won government decisively in 2013, and Loughnane ran a tight campaign. The real damage came later: leadership chaos, internal division, and a loss of clear direction.
Labor is weak on terror. Weak on borders. Weak on Australian values. Anthony Albanese must stop making excuses for bringing alleged terrorists back to Australia and putting Australians at risk.
Victoria matters, because when it goes wrong, the whole country pays.
@EBlackwell6280 Fair question. The early move to shut the borders bought Australia valuable time, and the National Cabinet helped keep decisions coordinated instead of descending into chaos. Those steps, at least initially, kept case numbers and deaths relatively low compared to many countries.
