CRISIS - Maine. In the last 2 weeks I have recv’d a dozen calls from chronically ill patients being refused pain mgt care. Each say they are being treated as “addicts” not people suffering w/documented painful conditions. @SenatorCollins @GovJanetMills - How is this ethical?🤷🏼♂️

@EdieBillhimer Edie, the interdisciplinary pain and headache rounds stress multimodal treatment, which includes systemic analgesics. You know me well enough to understand that I'd never be a Director of an entity that is opiophobic.
@EdieBillhimer Actually, having just returned from the ASIPP conference in Dallas, almost every key opinion in American pain medicine is adopting a very moderatist viewpoint. They had us do a 4-hour symposium there which was on safe and effective use of opioid analgesics.
Garbage and harm combined to produce "Combigesic". Anaphylactically allergic to ALL NSAIDs, in renal infarction/kidney failure due to Tylenol overuse. In hospital told them of NSAID allergy, was disbelieved, hospital injected NSAID IV=anaphylaxis they almost killed me #CPP

And I want you to know that I am not in any way bragging. Cancer is a roll of the dice and I know I am nothing but lucky to have made it this far. I am so sorry for those who have passed.
Although to qualify me for the therapeutic cannabis program he did check off cancer, cachexia, and severe pain. So there is that.
I'm almost 2 years out from my dx. There is no explanation for why I'm doing well w invasive cancer. I praise the Gods and I grieve for those who have lost their lives to this terrible disease. Nothing about this makes sense.
Here for the #Cancer Community. My doc monitors me on a monthly basis. Today he told me that I am doing remarkably well and that all of my blood work is good. He is amazed.
The big lie is that government power and corporate power are counterbalancing forces, when, in fact, they are magnetic forces. Big business does not hate big government, but loves it as a means through regulatory capture to monopolize industry and expropriate the taxpayers.
