@OdyllicThe The last season killed it for me. I was buying the mangas from Zon as soon as they were available but it became such a slog. The problem I have with manga is the creator doesn’t seem to know how to end it. The Promised Neverland & Alita are other notables for me 😭
Cover art trivia - In the first draft the jewel was heart-shaped (I think I said heart-sized somewhere and there was a misunderstanding). Made the whole thing look very...romantasy. It's not!
Cover art trivia, did you say? At no point in the trilogy does Zynnie have a showdown with the disembodied head of a Vulkar/Skellington/Octopus. Each simply represents the antagonistic force of the particular part of her journey.
