Pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer both affect the pancreas, not the same. Pancreatitis is inflammation, often sudden and treatable. Pancreatic cancer involves abnormal cell growth and may develop quietly. Persistent pain, jaundice, or unexplained weight loss? Get evaluated.
