When Strava reminds you of posts from previous years. Two years ago today: “definitely felt like I didn’t have as much energy today” and went for a run/walk - oh how little did I know what was to come with Long Covid, a whole new meaning to low energy levels 🥲
Seen so much from the #dyspraxia community over the last few days can see how much awareness and community has meant to so many and solidarity. So many different voices and stories. Keep going 💪🏻(something us dyspraxic’s are very good at)

Sad news. I volunteered with the Dyspraxia Foundation on and off over the past 8 or so years, have attended many of their conferences and met some great people and lifelong friends through the DF. My Dad only joined the team and started working for them at the start of this year.

Monty and I are home alone which means snuggling in bed and watching AKOS season two.
Just to update: I’m still symptom-free, 3 months on! It’s now been ~6 months with no symptoms AND I’m now off Amitriptyline with no negative effect. I’ve been renovating a house & working a busy full time job, so I’m back to my old activity levels with no problems #LongCovid

I’ve been working full time for 4 months and I am RUNNING. I’m on week 5 of Couch to 5k 😄 I can go out and see friends, and I don’t have to worry about getting too tired. I have got my life back ❤️ 2/

Today marks 4 years since I first got Covid-19 which turned into 3 years of #LongCovid hell. I’m still symptom-free, one year on. Seeing other recovery posts gave me hope when I thought I’d never recover, so I’m posting this in case it helps others. Recovery IS possible. 1/🧵
Just overheard my 22 year old neighbors saying “girls coming at 11 then we’ll go to the bars at midnight” and all of a sudden I finally feel like I’m 31. That sounds exhausting waiting that late to leave the house.
#3positives for today 1. Went in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at centre parcs rapids, wave pool, toddler pool with our niece 🥰 2. Some cute ducklings & we saw deer had a long walk around. 🐤 3. Drink in the onsite pub followed by a meal and cocktails at Las Iguanas 🍹
i have lived in the same house for seven years and somehow my cat still finds new hiding places that i cannot find. this is not a large place and he is quite a large cat. yet every few months, i spend about twenty minutes looking for him. how does he do this?

In the process of buying a house all by myself; I’ve been accepted and now it’s the logistics to go. Went and viewed it today and I just feel so proud to have done this without anyone else’s support. This girl can and WILL!! 💪🏻🏠✨
