The cynic would say that Trump releasing this evidence of vote-tampering is a way of immunizing the practice of vote-tampering: if no arrests and no convictions of officials involved are made after this, it will be clear to everyone that no election can ever be considered non-corrupted. Yes, Trump is a performer. He has a massive ego. He owes favors to other billionaires. But, he is nearing the end of his life. What will his legacy be? Nobody really cares about or remembers billionaires hundreds of years after they’re gone. Rockefeller, Carnegie, Morgan are not on par with Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln. In order to be in the latter group, Trump has to transcend just being a rich guy into someone who makes a positive historical impact. Restoring the republic might just be his way of creating such a legacy. If cleaning up the fraudulent elections were real, wouldn’t it look like this? What does it profit an 80 year old billionaire to pretend to clean up the corruption?

@Michael_Yon Michael Yon, do you deny that there was massive cheating in the 2020 presidential election? On what basis? Besides your Ad Hominem insults against Trump, do you have counter evidence to what the executive branch is releasing tonight?

Why do we celebrate the Fourth of July? This was the day in 1776 that the American colonist revolutionaries signed their names to a document that declared they were breaking the bounds of governance from their despotic king. They grounded their reasoning on the values of the Enlightenment. Natural rights endowed by the creator to each individual: life, liberty, pursuit of happiness (property). They asserted that government is only legitimate with the consent of the governed. They declared that Great Britain no longer had their consent as the king had violated these God-given rights. Therefore, the American Revolutionary war began. The culmination of the revolutionary period was the ratification of the written US Constitution and the Bill of Rights - a triumph of individual freedom and philosophy over power and tyranny! The legacy of this recognition of individual liberty is the most prosperous economy in world history, world-leading scientific and technological development, a panoply of religious practices, an explosion of cultural innovations, and the best place in the world to live. Don’t agree? Go try it somewhere else. Happy 250th birthday to the United States of America!

Massive violation of the social contract - we give up some freedoms like personal vengeance against transgressors and rely on the state to administer the due “justice.” Well, the state failed to deliver said justice in this case. Hence, the tearing up of the social contract. The violators and the “judges” are fair game when the social contract is null and void.

I appreciate your use of Occam’s Razor to explain the origins of these supposed watchers. It makes sense if the phenomenon that is reported is truly not known by humans. However, the skeptic in me says that this is more likely a mass psychological operation foisted on the population by government agencies for purposes of fear-mongering and distraction.
